Each picture has several hundred 'anchors' or points that define two features:

1. The points in the skull that do NOT change over time, such as the cheekbone ridge and ridge of the nose, and

2. The points in the soft tissue and other facial features that DO change, such as the muscles around the mouth, the jaw line and the hairline.

I used at least 200 points on each photo for a total of about 3500 manually set points. Not easy, but the results are pretty good.

GsxrBadGirl, I recommend you download the transformation software 'Morpheus', it can be obtained via a torrent site or as a trial via their official website.

It allows you to morph anything into anything, as sina4 stated, it is purely based on the points placed within each photo that determines the morphing process.

This cue originally was used to reveal the cave entrance to center of the earth in the film 'Journey to the center of the Earth'. The sun shone on the entrance at a certain time on a certain data and bingo, cave exposed. I picked it due to it's dramatic nature. Seems to go with the age progression of the morph. BTW: Danny Elfman stole this theme for the original Batman movie.

I believe it was the cue named 'Mountaintop and Sunrise' but I have heard it referred to as the 'Sunrise cue' from the BH pages. Bernie rearranged everything for the fffr London recordings anyway. Different tempos, instrumentation, etc. The original film cues were pretty cheaply orchestrated compared to the London sessions.
