we'll find out more about the origins of the weeping angels come spring...the lady in white is also the lady who looked up and is probably 1 of 2 people....1 it is romana, 2 it is the doctor's mother!
uhm i don't understand who the "weeping angels of old" are. especially the lady at the end of "the end of time" who looked up. was that really donna? or was that romana? and what's the connection with the lady in white? a reply would be (as my doctor, the ninth doctor, would say) fantastic!
RTD said that the doctor had a brother in FEAR HER so i think that in the xmas ones, they might explore his family a bit more, also there were people seen in TL (time lord) costumes. also, in the original script for journey's end, when they went to the shadow proclamation, there was meant to be a scene of some of the dr's enemies who had been 'arrested' by the judoon. aparrently, that's meant to be happening in the end of time.
wow, that was a big character development, but beyond that, she wasn't really an integral part of the story... it was even joked upon in the story itself when the Doctor turn Jackie away when everyone was piloting the Tardis
I don't have a problem, I'm just voicing my opinion, I'm sorry if it goes against what you say, but whatever, people don't have the same views, it would be boring of they did. So suggesting that I have a problem is a bit too far, right?
DAvid said himself that if we think we have worked out what the "knock 4 times" means that we are wrong :( But it is meant to be very very sad! Oh No!!!
2/4 actually, the theme tune is like a march, you can walk in a marching pattern to it... 1 2 1 2 1 2... get what I mean, each bar has 2 4 notes, making it 2/4... I could go into it further in more specific detail, but I wont bore you
The 4 knocks are the beats he hears from when he looked into the time vortex, so although associated with the Master, quite rightly they are in the theme tune as it is the beats from the TIME VORTEX, so my guess it would be because the Doctor screwed around with "established" events and it has messed up the timelines hence all the wierd plotlines. Can't wait to watch it though, and I will miss DT :o( x
kierany1 yh he sed that but as he sed in the last of the timelords 2 the master ur messing wiv history cause the toclafan had come back 2 destroy the human race aka paradox they would just fade away
AND The Doctor also said "There all gone I'm the last of the time-lords" And he went and destroyed a fixed point in time in the episode WATERS OF MARS
So someone's posted clips of Billie Piper's return to the last special where DT regenerates. I love Bille but every time the writers bring back Billie, it dilutes the impact of her appearance b/c every 'last' appearance of Rose is never a last appearance.
That scene with the docter and Luke wasn;t in the 2 parter was it? So was that Doctor Who at christmas or are we gonna see the Doctor make another visit into SJA?
I think it unlikely. They will probably never answer the Queen ELizabeth question. It's just one of those fun things thrown in. Basically indicating that there are loads of adventures the Doctor has had that we haven't "seen". How many times in the classic series did we hear the Doctor mention people we never saw in adventures....
If you watched the 2009 Children in Need Tenth Doctor special, it was revealed that the Doctor had married and taken Queen Elizabeth the First's virginity and probably ditched her soon after their wedding night.
Hence why she recongnized the Tenth Doctor and had her guardsmen attempt to arrest the Doctor and execute him when he did not recount ever meeting her nor what he did to piss her off at the end of the Shakespeare Code.
i think that odd sigma is a nightmare that the doctor is having as it is said when a time lord is nearing the end of their life they will have nightmares
What you forgot the mention was the biggest spoiler yet, lol. The master and Rani return (with her tardis) and they somehow Kill the 10th Doctor (David) and He regenerates as Matt Smith, 11th Doctor, this will be in the Second of the Christmas Special.
If I am correct with all the characters minus Mickey and the sexy Martha Jones. The 2 episode is an occurence after the hell and terror the Doctor faces in The Water of Mars and the Doctor may have got infected by the Water( I think some of you know the epi. via trailer) and the Doctor is fighting the infection via his mind and memories of friends which will lead the 10th Doctor's final curtain call. Then again I can be wrong but it's the thought of it!
just had a look at the comic con trailer, very intersting. Timothy Dalton narates, "It is said that in the final days of planet Earth, everyone had a bad dream." ......and John Simm is so cool as the Master!
Has anyone thought that the appearance of so many supporting characters is a bit odd. A conventional narrative would be really hard to keep going with so many people to keep track of.
I have a theory that maybe the appearances of all these characters is all in the Doctor's mind. Maybe the Doctor has to fight his way through dreams and nightmares (probable imposed by a formidable foe, such as the Master)
I don't think "Shakespeare Code" will play in at all. It's just an unrevealed adventure, kind of like whatever Martha and the Doctor were up to with the bows and arrows in "Blink."
Great video. This is going to be SO sad. I do like the idea of Rose being in it and him going to her even if it is set in the past. His love. And oh love the journal reference. Those 2 episodes were amazing and I love when DW references earlier events especially over time. Though I do wonder how he'd allow his adventures to be published!!
The doctor goes back before ecclestone met rose. Thats why sarah jane is crying when she sees tennant going into the tardis. She hasnt seen him since the tom baker days (because tennant hasnt met her in the school yet).
good idea but the problem with the sarah jane thing is that she wouldn't have Luke yet if that were true because she found him after she met The Doctor in the school.
So "Waters of Mars" will air on Doctor Who's 46th birthday? Epic. Good luck David, on your final adventures and your nsame will be along side the other Doctors' names, like Patrick,Tom, Jon and Peter.
:'( I don't think I'll be able to watch it, tbh... without feeling empty... I don't care if Matt Smith hasn't been seen yet or whatever, David will always be the best :'D
it is so sadd omg i feel like crying :'(

Maybe she will just know from what she has heard about him and sees how out of place he is. That would be kinda neat...
