Pslawinski shot this vid of my coil and put on his youtube account since he has better video equipment that I do. In answer to your question, oh yes, it's definitely asynch rotary gap driven. WAAYY too much power (~15 kVA) here to run it reliably with a stationary gap!

What is the bps of your ASRG and the cap size if you don't mind me asking.

Hi Phil, just noticed your posting here. I usually run the bps in the 300 to 350 range and the primary cap is .1 uFd.
