Si vous en avez mangé une part, et que peut-être il en reste, tu peux dire : "Nous avons mangé DE la pizza."

EN fait , les deux sont corrects.

Pour ta seconde phrase, "NOUS SOMMES PARTIS DE la maison." C'est la seule forme correcte. "

Not really : nous avons mangé la pizza is when you know there was a pizza and that you have eaten some of it or the whole one.

Nous avons mangé de la pizza means that the audience did not know there was a pizza and you don't speak about a particular one. Maybe you have eaten one, two or three pizza, maybe a half one. It's more or less like We have eaten the pizza there was in the fridge, and we have eaten some pizza.

We'll have to employ an expert to help us with this one. My initial feelings are that either is correct, just as it would be in English. "We departed from the house" "We departed the house" "We ate the pizza" "We ate some of the pizza". Of course there is a slight difference in meaning between the last two. I'm never afraid to say that I make mistakes when speaking French....heck....I make lots of mistakes. When he was inventing, Thomas Edison made lots of mistakes too. And look at him!

Be carefull too : le hamburger, not l'hamburger. Almost every "germanic" word that begins with "h" must be used with "le" or "la" instead of "l'".

The l-apostrophe is used with words that start with a vowel, or vowel SOUND.

In french, 'hamberger' is pronounced 'amburger', therefore 'l'hamburger' would be correct. Just like J'habite.

The "h" on germanic words acts as a consonnantic phonema, so "le hamburger", le hérisson, le haricot, le handicapé, etc.
