Hey, jamilqiudice... I do know who Nana is! That's why I agree with many respected artists, Brasilians included, who categorize him as nothing more than a "neguinho safado"! However, "to Ceasar what is Ceasar's" - Nana is a great berimbau player! Now, other than that, (and perhaps, making sounds in a falsetto vocal register...), there's no other instrument that he really masters! And, that's rather poor, when you sell yourself as a multi-instrumental artist!

This guy was elected the world's best percursionist in the world. 8 times. By the (american, yes, north-american) magazine "Down Beat".
