Maxwell (Along with Chalmers) went under in the early 20s , however, a bright young former GM executive bought the 2 companies and renamed them for himself, Walter P. Chrysler.

I' not sure of the exact year they participated but my father of 87 yrs. was pretty sure it was 1910. He says the event ran for a few years.

My great Grandfather GusG.Buse and his son,my Grandfather Gus L.Buse sponsored and drove one of those vehicles in the Glidden Tour in 1910. I would love any info. you have on those events. I also have pictures. Thanks!
