If possible. How to enable the keylights (Buttons) for the Ipod Classic ? Or does it feature some sort of sensor whom enables itself automatically when you're in a dark surrounding? I couldn't anything either way in the settings. Does anyone know any more regarding this?

I owned an 8gb nano w/ camera and it recently died on me. Kinda was my fault though. Anyone I bought the classic from a friend for 100 bucks. Other than scratches it works perfectly. Really enjoying this ipod. I've always owned nanos so this was a big upgrade. Sure I don't have the camera anymore, but I never used it anyway.

how do you tell from a 7th to a 6th to a 5th gen. i want to buy a 160 gb ipod classic from a friend.. i dont know what gen it is.

that sucks!! its strictly an mp3 player from apple. my 8gb nano is better and thinner then that and holds enough music. 1,700. i got the 5th gen nano with the video cam silver.

@addison567 yes.... it is an mp3 player. I mean if u only have 1700 songs the nano should be fine for you. But for others with 1000s of songs and 100s of movies this is obs better.
