When Grofe used this as the theme of his 1933 radio show for Philip Morris, they immediately adapted 2:36-3:06 as their musical "signature", performed at the beginning of all their sponsored radio and early TV programs for over 20 years, which became as familiar as "Johnny" [Roventini], their equally famous "bellhop" icon and his clarion call, "Call for Philip Mor-risss!".
