So I can just insert the Tmobile simcard from my Motorola RIZR into an unlocked Nokia N8 I bought let's say from fleabay, and I could use the phone for calls and text and use my own wifi or where it's available and turn off the 3G and not be charge for data usage since it's not a Tmobile branded phone, gotcha! Nokia N9 is too thick and large, my Samsung GS2 is half the thickness of the Nokia N9 and with more power, and no, Android does not require Dual Core, it can run smoothly on singe core, dual core provides more processing power which means less time opening applications, faster processing and is much better at multitasking especially when opening multiple applications together, would you go back to single core desktops? NO. My Samsung SG2 lasts 2 days with moderate use.

Of course S II has more power as for the reason it has 1.2GHz dual-core processor. You may say that S II is faster and is much better at multitasking, probably you've not had the experience using the N9 just yet. Can your S II use both MeeGo and ICS 4.0? I don't think so. I'm not gonna go fighting over here. So, I'll just shut my ass up. People have rights to choose :)

Why is this phone so good? Im trying to figure out what makes its so good? I have 2-3 year old Japanese phones that are better than this phone. And the current Docomo phones I sell are far superior to this phone with dual core processors, 4x as much ram as this, waterproof, much larger screens that run in Full HD 1080P and 16 megapixel cameras that shoot 3D. How is this N8 any good? is it super cheap or something? like 100 dollar phone?

And they have shown concepts from Nokia labs which shows that Samsung, Apple and HTC are far behind Nokia in development of bendable full touch screen phones. For those windows phones check "Nokia Lumia 800" and "710". More of those WP7 super phones are coming. And for bendable concepts search "Nokia Human form" or "Nokia Gem" remember they are concepts so they probably develop it on and on and on.

Those phones have slower CPUs, small displays(and quality is far behind Samsung's SAMOLED Plus) and WP7 is far behind iOS, not to mention Android(no apps, no phones that use it, so less support, etc).

And I don't really care about concepts especially ones that make your phone look like a pregnancy test.

@vpopov89 Then you just don't probably know what you are talking about. I admit that original Symbian 3 phones were horrible but when updated to Anna or Belle it is far more better. And Mango 7.5 is just so super. So fast and easy to use. Of course there is no as much apps in WP7 as in Android or iOS because the OS isn't used as much. But because Nokia starts to use it as primary OS the market share grows fast just like app support. And size of the screen isn't the most important tihing.

@vpopov89 actually the cpu is on par with the one from iphone4s because the iphone has each core running at 800mhz .it has the same ram as the iphone.also wp7 is as fast and reliable as ios and more sstable then android.as for the apps they are growing day by day and in a year or 2 they will be on par with the other stores.but all of the important apps from other platforms are already on windows phone.plus the flagship phone is still a couple months away all you said is a big pile of shit.troll

With Symbian Anna update this phone is pretty damn good. I thought it's crap after reading comments on youtube but the phone blew me away. The screen is super responsive (better than Iphone and ZTE) and it's really sturdy.

Can't even compare it with any other phones on market today... Had my doubts about N8, but it kicks some serious ass, I can tell... N8 = Top notch...

Im really annoyed about the fact you can't even turn off the light in the camera, Although the quality is great! I thought I could just simple turn it off after I bought it since most phones do that! T_T. There is like a million different settings too, you're always switching to different screens to get to one little thing. Also this is impossible to listen to music to, If you use iTunes and Nokia Ovi player, you're probably gonna have some trouble transferring your music, just my experience.

@maria82792 I think not. But! I just tried both default software and camerapro. Defaults red light really is annoying didn't even remember that. Camerapro also has the red light but it isn't even close to what it is with default. I tried both with lights out and where as default pretty much "painted" the wall red. With camerapro there wasn't even any mark there. I could take easily picture from my own face without hurting my eyes with it. Unlike with default.

@vjellu I took a look at it and it sounds cool!! definitely worth the the extra 3.00 at the ovi store, but the red light is really annoying, especially when you're trying to quietly take a picture, without everyone's head turning to see what you're taking a picture of.. I might consider getting it, but as soon as iphone 5 comes out, I'll probably just keep my n8 as a camera..its soooo slow for me, i hate the settings too -__-

1. Is it tough. I mean if it falls from a meter or 2 will it fall apart or mess in the system?

2.Does it ever freeze or get stuck ect because i have the 5530 and It freezes and restarts itself sometimes plus I had some troubles with it and i had to reset the system 2 because of some errors...
