I jabbed holes in the sides of the can with nails, then bent the jagged edges in. The paint stirrers, which resemble rulers, are the neck of the guitar. Two rulers glued together would work.

It's a homemade ceramic guitar slide.

The slide is the black pipe looking thing on my left ring finger, which I use to make notes on the string.

I extruded some slides when I had a ceramics class. They can be had for $5-$50, or you could just use a piece of pipe.

A ruler is a dollar.

A tuning peg is a dollar or 5.

A string is a dollar. And if you have a guitar, you might use a broken string.

You can't lose.
