Last time I left a comment was 6 months ago. I stop by here often, though, to listen to this great song. I love all your vids, but this is one of your best.
A friend of mine sent me White Dove. I thoroughly enjoyed your music. I will be checking out the other music that you have posted on here. I wish you many more days of playing music together. Thank you for sharing your talent.
yes I'd agree about the words of this tune, just haunting, they played it at my grandpa's funeral...but I have a sound clip of Ralph 2 singing a song Carter wrote like a month before he died, and that is the best of all,it is called 'Mary,Merry Christmas'...I gotta find a way to get it on here!
hey, Great sound, one thing though, the song goes in the deep rolling hills of OLD VIRGINIA. Maybe you all changed it cause your from West Virginia. I guess that's as good a reason as any. I checked you web-site, you guys really have a good sound. Keep on pickin.
Great rendition of a great Carter Stanley tune. Great harmonies, excellent instrument work. Where are you guys? If you play around Virginia I wanna come see you play.
can you do blue virginia blue, dougs tune, a face in the crowd, cluck old hen. These are just request lol. If you do some of them that would be neat though
awesome! you guys should sing "In the Pines", this song reminds me of it especially in the beginning, and the one song from "O brother where art thou"

Definitely check it out. It's on the first "Old and In The Way' album. Great solos by David Grisman, and Vasser Clemens as well.
