  • The Great and origial drummer of the driffters & shadows, on drums (Tony Meehan) RIP

  • found this song from vid to vid: started with skynyrd, outlaws and now this....I've been looking for this since I was 4....:)

  • And The White People Call As Illegals. at 0:46 does people were the first to fight illegal immigration, how can you call us illegals when you where the ones who invade us?

  • 22 people are ornery owlhoot coyotes--or else they just clicked the wrong button accidentally. ^_^

  • The first version and by far the best!

  • Nenadmasno!

  • ain't no tambourine on the record! It's the Indian drum thingy Cliff played! Read the book-DO WE REALLY NEED 17 WATTS. :)X

  • it's nice to hear it in stereo but to be honest,my(mint)copy of the original,is a far superior mix! GET THE VINYL 45 VERSION!!!!

Oh yeah! Apparently it's Cliff playing the funny tom drum-can anyone confirm?(found in the cupboard under the stairs at Abbey Rd apparently-'the DRUM,not Cliff!)

All them green Columbia 45's/78's of Cliff & the Drifters/Shads iz worth a listen! Serious stuff!!!!

  • Teenager Party,Délutáni Randevú. SZ.E.R. /Szabad Európa Rádió/

  • A masterpiece

  • great song and nice picing love it.

  • I remember on most all the old westerns on TV.

  • @jemlesvideo You are obviously an idiot or an attention seeker.

  • First time I've ever heard the original version. I didn't know until today that Ingmann didn't compose it. Favorited! ^_^

  • Sounds just as good as it did 50 years ago and it's going into my playlist.

  • @snoopy9949

    agreed.....enjoyed it

  • And Cliff Richard had nothing to do the whole song.

  • @2degucitas Hmmm, Cliff Richard plays the percussion on it (tambourine I believe). If you listen carefully, you can hear him.

  • @MacBratt OK, sweet!!

  • Great. thanks.

  • I'm an old old git, and this sounds pretty much as I remember it. Most of the old records sounded like two blowflies in a marmite jar. Speakers? Hell, I first heard it on a crystal set!

  • this is wonderfull,

  • jiggle the cord, duh

  • This will still be great decades from now.

(55 jaar geleden : nog even mooie uitvoering!)

  • ok

Felicitaciones Nocaro! One of the best instrumental songs ever played. Congratulations Nocaro!

  • I love this tune. I first heard it years ago (probably about 40 or more) when I was babysitting my sister's kids and listening to her Ventures albums. I haven't heard this version before. Similar in sound to the Ventures version but definitely different.

  • Great photos.

  • I have uploaded a better quality at : watch?v=cF3xySUv008.

There is a bright sound, and NO ADVERTISE at begining.

  • 21 People dislike this video! I wonder why. This is superb, just superb and brings me back to my teehage years in the 60's.

  • Marvellously reavealing to them what can by ear be unconcealing of, in conjunction with view, what be no insult to the memory of for Man.

  • I'm sure the historical Apache tribe would appreciate the musical gesture by this pop culture boobism.

  • @JerryOfPerth they were backward bow n arrow pricks they had the same amount of evoulotionary time as we did ! we was just more advanced !!!! same prick arse excuse for 3rd world pykie cunts ..... cos we evented guns etc we was the aggressors !! stupid thick retards should have noticed .........

  • @MrCarperjones LOL, lets see, following your line of logic, the generation 1000 years from now will look back at your backward trashing of the English language and think the same thing about you.

  • Sounds good to me

  • Cudowny zespół!nie ma sobie równych...!

  • Es hermoso, sublime e incomparable, I really love it.

  • sounds great on my computer i dont get it would sound better on my akai 635d

  • listen with your heart and it sounds perfect!

  • The shadows !! I was 13 on that time, my firs slow, Just great

  • adoro questo pezzo!sound perfetto!

  • good quality thank you Nocaro

  • Nothing wrong with sound quality here. Almost as good as the old vinyl original from around 1960. They had another single named Geronimo after the Apache leader.

@Boyutstone let us thank the writer and artists for bringing the Apache to more prominence.

And why not give a wrap to Hank B Marvin who made the Stratocaster talk.

  • quality sucks! the end...

  • Sounds Great..... IF your speakers are working good, check your ears..

  • classic pop!

  • @jemlesvideo Check your speakers, pal, or possibly your internet connection. This sound is about as perfect as perfect can be other than being in the recording studio with them.

  • @Nocaro Yes. Nothing wrong with the quality.

  • @LancealotWarpio People are crazy around here ?

  • @jemlesvideo Well, the chances you are right are about 822,000 (number of views) to 1 since you're the only one that has complained. I too own it on cd and hear NO DIFFERENCE whatsoever. BTW...I haven't spent a dime on any additions to my computer.

  • @Nocaro Sounds good to me!

  • @Nocaro Exactly my point , the sound is original and awesome .

  • @Nocaro No, I thinks he's right. theres a weird bit of compression, i think its messing the hihat up, it sounds like a distorted 'chick'.

  • @Nocaro

Well you get pretty crappy bitrate from 240p. You can tell the difference from a mile away with my "audiophile" headphone rig. Still it sounds pretty good.

  • @Nocaro - I think it's pretty good here - thanks for uploading.

  • @jemlesvideo the sound seems very good to me in my headphone

  • @jemlesvideo This sounds much better than it did when the Shadows were my favourites as a ten year old because radio was "medium wave" back then - not even FM and this is now delivered digitally so you've got a problem if the sound is wrong.

  • @jemlesvideo DEFT!!!

  • @jemlesvideo you owe the cd?

  • @flyinghotwing Yes, sure. Why ?

  • @jemlesvideo check the dictionary....owe v. own

  • @flyinghotwing Haw, don't mind. I'm french. That's just a typing mistake, don't you have somethin' more inportant to taking care of ?

  • @jemlesvideo lol

  • @jemlesvideo Check yo computer pal, because it's coming through here just fine... I'm thinking you must be a troll... Hey even trolls find good music now & again.. So yea fuck off youngster

  • @MrGeltabs Hello ? Do you understand anything ? I love this song, wake up. But if you look out to my upload of this song, you'll realize the bad sound quality of this one. Mine is a far smoother.

  • @jemlesvideo something wrong with your ears maybe ?

  • @peter120564 That must be with yours

  • It's a pop song folks. Not a political statement.

  • hey chevy heres one 40,000 years in north america ,invented the stick

  • @gr8cutter The Turanian people stretch from Hungary through the former USSR all the way to Korea and across to Americas. Invented nothing? Hungary gave Leo Szilard( nuclear bomb)Oszkar Asboth(Helicopter)..

  • @gr8cutter Koreans invented the movable type printing, first multiple rocket launcher, touch screen mobile phone.

  • @gr8cutter when u say American who u really talking about? The inventions were a common progress, unless some ppl r isolated so the progress doesn't reach them.Mind u Europe was just a big forest at the time..

  • Comment removed

  • @chevyss67222 What? While the Indians were dragging their knuckles Michelangelo was painting the Sistine chapel, while Indians were hunting with bow and arrow Europe had invented firearms, while Indians were talking to "spirits" to heal them Europe had invented medicines. Indians are still around because American allowed you to exist, if not your whole race would have been extinct since the late 1800's. Ps. I'm quarter part Indian but they doesn't mean I will defend stupid comments.

  • @360deeman for being part indian you sure dont know much do you ,the indians knew how to paint and had weapons and medicine herbs and so fourth without the need of americans to take over our lands when it was untouched, get your story straight and do me a favor dont defend my comments they are true not stupid you moron.what you really need is to take a history lesson not your smart remarks.dont reply if you have something dumb to say.

  • @360deeman indians are a proud race dont even try to belittle them with your dumb remarks of the sistine chaple ,firearms medicine ,indians had all of that before when the land was untouched and my heritage was since the time of the great aztecs and mayan indians in wjtch we decended to the nothern territories witch became our lands, put your story straight or don't say no more your imbarassing yourself.

  • a masterpiece

i heard it in croatia in the early 60's

  • Musica meravigliosa!

  • surf's up

  • we were here first and will always be here because you dont know how to live off the land.........to bad

  • @chevyss67222 Agreed, modern ppl live "on" the land.. not "off" and respect nature.. very sad

  • Cowboy movie soundtrack my childhood times 1970s

  • wow ! simply fantastic. what a marvel of guitar playing !!! still remember my college days listening to this number. great.

  • beautiful pics of my race.

  • IT HAS WORDS ..sonny james recorded it ..

  • To bad Natives don't play stringed instruments....drums baby, wher's da drums?

  • @TheHALFsavage Well theres alot of drums in this.. Snare, kick, cymbals, and toms.. Dont know what you mean :)

  • @MrDaveyognaut hehehe im a traditional Native american, we don't make music like this, if anything this covers up what is real

  • @TheHALFsavage Well you made it sound like there was no drums :) Might not be native big drum sound, but drums are there :) Have a nice day

  • @TheHALFsavage White man came, Saw, Stomped ànd Concquerd. Thats the Way of My People, and I'm not even American... Europeans (like me) have a tendency to look at Indians, (HERE, that's still your name, no offence) as Noble, Spiritual, Honnest Nature-bound, Mystical Beings,..Who were Wronged Beyond Believe, what you were.

But ya know what they say; the Winners Write the History, Therefore, That, is Native Music.! Thats fucked up, No?

  • @explosivefreak666 Thats fucked up hehehe but its not my fault the white man was kicked out of the garden of eden...its not my fault yall can't live in peace... I still am a noble, spiritual, honest nature bound mystical being. Remember before there were winners...there were no losers...we were equal...its your self centered sense of entitlement that fucked the world up. The white man couldn't make his own way so he had to undermine others. No is that fucked up?

  • @TheHALFsavage Your Allright, Chief, but where the hell were YOU, when our White asses got Kicked Out.? I Mean, Weren't There ALL the People ?

I'm not so hung up on Religion, so, I might be Wrong... My Noble, Spiritual... HaHa..

Neh, but I feel for you, Here to, we Know History. And, When We aren't Killing Reds, Blacks or Yellow, We Fuck up our Own Kind, For Balance, Hence, the Many Euro Wars.

Yow, Never Spoke with an Indian Before, is it True, you don't Fear Hights? Grtz.!

  • @explosivefreak666 Haha this NDN isn't afraid of heights. But not all of us lol Im not a religious type either, but what i meant, was that, We as a people (NDNs), we still in our eden when Columbus landed. We lived peacefully, off the land. I cud say the same for africans. Stuff like this video simply irks me, i mean, my people are stretched thin amongst america, absorbing others cultures and we forget our own. To many of us have no pride or think that its all in the past.....

  • @TheHALFsavage

lol. Dont want to be rude. But both Africa and America had their fair share of bloodshead before "the white man" came a long. Not to belittle the absue of native african or american (Australian Asian could be added) population. But refering to it as the Garden of Eden is just bad history knowleage. Zulu for Africa and Aztec's for america is two good examples of warmongering native states of named continents.

  • @perkalov No, your not being rude, of course i know as well, that if i say something like that, people aren't going to visualize and symbolize what im talking about. The Aztecs went crazy, but history tells us they disappeared. I know the aztec people just said "fuck it" and took off and migrated elsewhere. But whats important is, my people know our history, its not in a book, it can't be speculated. My tribe personally settled disputes through games of stickball.

  • @TheHALFsavage ..Hear You, but Now, it seems Like All Over the world, Everybody, is going to live in Everybody elses Countries..

You, are a Minority, in your OWN Land, THAT HAS to Suck as Hell.!

The last twenty years, Even MY, Shitty ass, Country is overrun by a few Hundreds of Thousands of Mostly Fanatically, Religious Allah Boys.! Even Saying That, is considerd "incorrect". Just hope, that once, our songs will not sound the same, my friend. but Now, it looks bleek..

  • @explosivefreak666 it does suck, especially comin from troy aikman's home town, everyone a cowboy wannabe, everyone around here gets mad at anything that says otherwise. Oklahoma, meth capital USA, home of the NDNs, and an oil industry, its fucking nasty down here, trash, white trash, and cheap dope. Sounds fun doesn't it.

  • @TheHALFsavage ..? Same Here,.! .. Folks get Pissed, 'bout shit you don't believe.!

It's like, ain't got no hobby, so Look around, till ya see shit to Bitch about.!! Are ppl. Assholes All Around.? Everywhere.? One prick, desides, what's O.K, &what not... the sheep say mèèh, and follow..

Overhere, Okl'homa, is just known for cattle,& farming, but Living it, is knowin'it.

Also, aren't the REAL Bad Boy's, in OIL.?!? The TRUE CRIME,?

  • It is Ennio Moricone

  • lindo recuerdo de mi juventud.

  • so sad, such unique culture vanished by american genoside

  • @BOYUTSTONE Have you read Geronimo's Autobiography? A very interesting tale indeed! Google it.

  • @BOYUTSTONE Vanished? I think NOT!

  • @kentamitchell

dont u know english soldiers lefts around infected blankets variola viruses? nhow rascally ? I m Turkish gay and know this how u can not know this realities? unfortunately they r the victims of one unjust, irregular, massacre by the ruthless bandits imbued avarice...

  • @BOYUTSTONE Listen, turkish gay, I spent 5years in Bethel, Alaska, a town that is 75% Yup'ik. You want to talk about things the British didbefore1776? Tell it to the Armenians.

  • @kentamitchell at least some of them sucsess to survive from brutal massacre..at the edge of the USA outside of the country...and u r showing as sample? very nonsense.even this sayings means accept genoside and abt armenian thy were the citizens of Ottoman empire and punished only betrayers under the fair war rules.

Ottomans means fair, justice, humanity, belief.... very humatistic nd deep culture roots goes 2000 years back.dont compare ant with the elephant.

  • @BOYUTSTONE

You pussy; get your history straight; that's a gross over-simplification of the story.

I can tell from the judgemental tone of your left-of-center statement that you have some kind of problem with the U.S. and it's history, heritage, and identity.

Additionally, spell American with an upper case "A", and genocide with a lower case "c".

Oh, and without American ingenuity there'd be no Fender electric guitars; no rock & roll...i.e. no surf music

  • @SuperAmin1950

no need argument just see result, anglosaxons and spanishes came this clean, unspoilt continent with viruses and spread with viruses...and destroyed one vulnarable, unprotected clean eco-friendly nation who cant fight againest this new atrocity, illness, dirt nd viruses with in the body nd souls of the uninvited reavers...

  • they are missing there actual history of which is actually greater than what you or even i may think thank oh lord thank you

  • The photos are much more important then the music. They are from Edward Curtis. He travaled all over the US and Alaska to photograph American Indians. He ran out of money and Pres. Rosevelt told him to look up J.P. Morgan. Morgan told him to forget it he wasn't going to give him anymoney. Curtis paid no mind and opened his porfolio. Morgan saw what he had already done and said he would give him $75,000. That was a huge amount for the early 1900. And one of the only times Mogan changed his mind.

  • So...how did this song go from a really neat instrumental song to a cheerleading song?

  • I love Apache people, Comanches, Cherookes, and every tribes all over America, from north to south, look at YouTube another brave tribe of Venezuela Amazon the Piaroa people in the song Canto Piaroa, it worhts, good, and different song.

  • Joo ensimmäinen kerta ku kuuntelen tän biisin. en oo ees kuunnellu shadowsii koskaa hahah

  • this is the one ThankQ TAR

  • The "Apache" are well respected! We whites could learn a thing-or-two from the Natives, if we weren't so ignorant! God knows: They kept our earlier Settlers Alive, from something called Scurvy! Then we raped their Homeland!! gratitude... Wha?

  • I love this song!!!! I also love The Shocking Blue "Navajo Tears"

  • The music is just as superb as the movie.get the chance to watch??? go for it..love it..grate song tho..

  • More than 6 million amero-indians murdered by the white men mainly form the Wester Europe

    over the 4 centuries !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
