@koroseman alabama has always been dominant in the SEC ever since the league started and florida went from being one of the worst teams in the SEC from being one of national powerhouses of the SEC in the last 22 yrs this florida team was in my opinion one of the greatest teams in its 100 yr history

Not even close. This was a young Bama team made up of freshman, sophomores, and Shula's recruits. Mark Ingram and Julio Jones were true freshmen. Rolando McClain and Kareem Jackson were sophomores. Players like Mark Barron and Marcell Dareus were buried in the depth chart. 2009 was a much better, more experienced team and by then Saban had figured out Urban Meyer's offense. 2008 Oklahoma held Florida in check offensively and '09 Bama would have done the same

@palmeroids Not going to argue that points with you 2009 Bama team was indeed a strong team. I think Florida could have done a better job, there were alot of dropped passes in that game that should not have been dropped. Some by David Nelson that coulda been key passes, and the interception Tebow threw in the endzone that was really the killer. Bama outplayed them. The Florida Bama game is always a great game to watch. Except for the past 2 years bc Florida's crappy qb Brantley lol.
