My opinion on that last bit with Rick is that Lesley didn't want to use Laura as a means of capturing his attention, plus she already has determined to not be "clingy". I think she wants Rick, but doesn't want to use her daughter to get him - not even Laura, who IS Rick's daughter in every way but biological. She wants Rick to want HER - Lesley. And her alone. Nothing else for our Queen.

@40addie Thanks for the "amazing" That is the adjective my youngest child has to use when he is apologizing to me! I do think that Lesley was struggling with wanting exactly that. She probably was struggling with everything WE wanted for her -- but it would have been too "cheap" of a victory -- a non-victory.

@40addie Rick had much to work out-- and in order to want her for herself -- he had to figure himself out -- and where he had gone wrong. Even after that, winning back Lesley would take a long time. How happy I am that the writers did not live in 2011!
