Hey Jakker ass27, you are the one who should sit in a quiet corner, cos 1st-ly you have assumed wrongly that I'm a City fan. But If I have to choose between City and ScumUnited, I'd rather choose City cos thats the one and only authentic Manchester Team, cos your Scum ala Prawn Sandwich Brigade Team has two initial shit names and aint enough to attract attention.
PS - Manscum was average team in the 80s, and I have respect for the pioneer fans, unlike you scums band of glory hunters
Im an ARSENAL fan but i have to admit Man city did him dirty they should have told him long before because he met every goal the board had set for him and the team when he signed on. its not like yall were losing a lot yall just wernt winning but and they should stop lying about him already knowing because he already said he had no idead about it of course there are always rumors that said it was coming but they should have told him face to face. but good luck with mancini GO ARSENAL GO GUNNERS
Hughes dealt with the problem like no other man could, if you give ur time, blood, sweat and tears and everything thing you got into your job and then get success (considering city only lost 2 games out the whole season) and then all of a sudden you get sacked an theres nothing you can do about it!!!!!!!!!! id have broke down in tears
@veloocyclingbarber ko sokong team ape? aku city tp slek defend die lemah.. [What team are you on? me, of course City... but the things that cause prob is the defender]
I agree true enough new owners are ruthless, but the equation doesnt fit it well. The Sheikh has approved for the hundreds of millions on new players, & just imagine lame home draws against Hull & Burnley, City's team was a disaster!! Look at the crowd turnout, & we cant expect such circus display to fill up the stadium. Lets be realistic, Hughes has made expensive flop buys & lame home draw against minnows were totally unacceptable, & if I'm the owner, I wouldnt be happy at all. Would you?
You need to sit in a quiet corner and get some perspective. Your manchester city.
You see chelsea struggling against west ham and united (albiet due to injuries) at fulham/villa....
It's a tough league. City are nobodies. Let's be realistic. How do you buy better squads then united, chelsea..even maybe arsenal. It's short sighted of city to think they can be number one with so many shite players....
ps: City are an average club too with money. Show us your trophys
I would be if we were in line to achieve the targets. Football is no different, Cooke is a puppet for the Arabs and as such will be treated like a minnow, when his time also comes to be sacked
Hughes ability to coach City was simply questionable. The Gaffer is just average & an average club like Rovers fit him well, & he did a brilliant job there. He came to ambitious City & signed a death warrant, & honestly it doesnt make sense for a former Man U legend to manage the other Manchester half. Its like Hughes is the apprentice to Palpatine's Fergie. Lets face it, Hughes isnt the man for City, the OT Regime perhaps Yes!! And we shall see ScumUnited dopping points during Xmas ...ho ho ho
This is absolutely disgusting the treatment of football managers. I blame oil tycoons and the like that come overseas and buy the English teams. I fell sorry for Mark Hughes and wish him every success with his next job.
I now hope man city don't win and don't meet the targets as pay back. The terrible tretment of a fantastic english manager.
Why do billionaire tycoons need to have massiv succes in the first session. Hughes was doing a great job. Money drivern now days with no moral code.
will SkidMark Hughes regret acting like such a twat before / after the Manchester derby defeat and his confrontations with Arsenal now he's looking for a job? Bolton, or even worse...Liverpool awaits
oh mark hughes is a better manager and a nice guys unlike others managers who are ignorant. when he comes back to wales i want his autograph. mancini who. i want mark hughes as the next lfc manager.
Sparky your a Red legend. Once again small time city show their class. Won sweet fa for 30 odd years..simod cup apart and sack the best thing that's probably ever happened to them. Your destined to be a mid table to top six club at best.
realrasmckhaile, let's not forget that British teams play as per their local nationality - i.e. England, Scotland, Wales, N.Ireland.
I am of the opinion that we should unite as one British team, thus giving ourselves a bigger pool of players to chose from. However, this should only occur for major tournaments i.e. World Cup/Euros.
We've freely given other countries the upper hand for far too long.
Harsh to sack him, started off well with 4 straight wins then lost at 96th min goal (Owen). Went on 7 straight draws but drew at villa, brum and l'pool wernt that bad but should have won the other 4 (includes weird pen for hull). He has alot of new players and needs time and stability but arguably tevez, bellamy, given, barry & swp have done something. Bridge has been average and had a stinker vs burnley, lescott, toure, adebayor, robinho = average. Also a case his tactics could b better.
Look out we have an English pundit in our midst. Yes he hails from a country that has won one questionable WC since their invention of the game and had 15 representatives in the previous Champions League while the Brazilians had 105. Yes I'm from America and I'm man enough to admit the US 'soccer' team is a well organized farce, are you man enough to admit this about your national football team? Wayne Rooney my ass!!!
i disagree you dont win things will constant long balls im a city fan i did not like hughes tactics one bit he didnt use the talent he had at his disposal properly
MarK Hughes should be exiled to the Galapagos Islands where he can socilaize with other bird brains of his intellectual peer. He thought Lescot was worth 20 million dollars , Lescott-- 20 million dollars?!!!! Mark Hughes should just donate his brain to science while it is still of use to somebody.
we ve just lost the best up and coming manager in England , he was doing fine ,we were on track, it takes time ,but just like Richard Dunne, COOK has shit on Hughes, and those rag heads can fuck off too, i cant understand this country , we own fucking nothing any more
I agree that in a team that requires no talent players with inherent skills to play an erratic kick and run, long pass from defenders to forwards with no midfield buildup, then of course Bellamy earns his spot. Robinho should leave England, because they don't play his brand of football and he looks terrible. Whether you like it or not the fact is facts. There is no better player in the Premier league that Robinho
Yes, fair enough. But my point is that Chelsea have won nothing when compared to their expenditure (and the title that Abramovich wants most UEFA Champions League Cup) - nor has changing from one manager to another made much difference.
As for Hughes and Blackburn - he had limited resources. Unlike Chelsea/City.
Anyone who thinks Craig Bellamy is better than Robinho deserves not only to be fired but to be exiled like Napoleon. Robinho is the first choice for the best team in football that won 5 WC but he has to fight for his spot against the likes of Bellamy. We are all witness to the fact that dementia is Mark Hughes most dominant and recessive trait when he sold Elano. Mark Hughes is not a manager no, he is a vanishing species of neanderthals with an IQ of a parmecium.
robinho is better im a man city fan and robinho is a gun but bellamy was getting the job done this season as soon as mancini gets organised bellamys out the door i reckon and robinho will fit in alot more with mancinis tactics hopefully mancini will bring in torres too =D
Now take a look at Man United - maybe not the financial backing like city, but a solid foundation - that's what brings success..... and it takes time.
Didnt Chelsea win two league titles and domestic cups since Abramovich took over, and after sacking Ranieri?? and Hughes turned Blackburn into a decent Premier League Team, NOT a world class team, like City aim to be.
City was doing ok Hughes was changing the side slowly the side needed time to gel i don't understand why they booted Hughes out and the way they did it was outrageous.
it was only Hughes first season in charge
Hughes was being realistic when he was aiming for the 4th position. Players and manger need time to gel.
more trouble ahead with Mancini , city will drop from 6th to relegation position.
should have hired guus hiddink instead of mancini.. hiddink's familiar with bpl.. he did a great job with chelsea.. i bet mancini's english language is as good as a 2 year old
AT LAST HE GETS SACKED, City has one of the best Quality players in the world, and If they are not winning games, then there's a problem and it was MARK HUGHES, Plus i remember him saying before the PL, that he aims for 4th position, wtf, with a team like that he should be aiming to WIN THE PL
Come on, they have had time to do that, although do u not agree that the last formation of Santa cruz, bellamy and tevez, worked very well together than adebayor, robinho and tevez?
This once again proves money doesn't buy success. They spent millions of pounds buying world class players and still they aren't top four material. On paper they have Tevez, Adebayor, Robinho, Barry, Given etc. Which looks as good as any team in the prem. The way they play isn't too convincing either, maybe they have too many big egos in the squad. Hughes was a very poor manager. They need to gel to have any chance of overtaking Arsenal, Chelsea, United amd even Aston Villa and Spurs.
Chelsea and Madrid were already good teams before they went mental spending. Madrid is Madrid and Chelsea for the few seasons before were around 4th or 5th. Man City finished 10th after they bought Robinho and Given lmao
ok he did a decent job at city brought in a load of good players but he didn't get the best outta of the players, he's a mediocore manager and he wouldn't be able to go up that next level where city expect to be now and thats challenging for the title every year and competing for the european cup, mancini wasn't the best choice of manager to get but he's better than sparky
fuck man city thers only one team in manchester. filthy manufactured cunts you were a mid table if not worse team now idiot arabs just buy everyone and u still wont win the league. fuck city
You can buy good players, but you can't buy success - success takes time..... keeping the same quality manager (as with Man Utd) is a major part of that process. Mark Hughes is quality.
I hope they plummet to the bottom half of the table. Teach the Arabs a bloody good lesson.
Well dude i hate Man City just as you but these bastards makes the competition more interesting and I always hated Arsenal. They are the true immigrants team I think. I'm not saying having too many foreigners are hindering the chance for the English players but having all foreigners certainly won't help England national team. I'm a Chelsea fan and didn't like Chelsea when we had full of foreigners. I got into Chelsea when we had lot's of average English players and did really well.
A manager needs a bit of time to build, Man Utd were goig to sack Fergie after appointing him but with a little time he delivered results and shit loads of trophies, Sparkie should of been given a bit more time, now I just hate Man City, sacking Sparkie is disgusting
Feel for the fans of Man City, but to buy success NO WAY. Sacking Mark Hughes bad move. Still remember liam gallagher takin the piss out of Man Utd. Now U cunt where the fuck r u BITCH.
football is getting ruined by power hungry, greedy, arrogant billionaires who want success in a season. as proven with ferguson you need to give somebody time.
its ridiculas. qpr with there billianair owner have had around 7 managers in like a 2 years, how many have chelsea had in two years? mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it fustrates me!
I dont get it as a united fan. City beat sunderland today and they beat arsenal and chelsea at the start of december and the end of november and they sack him, Maybe fullham beat united 3 0 but that doesnt mean fergie gets the sack. it takes time for the team to gel together a be sucessful and thats Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger are still at the clubs they were at 15 years ago.
yes it was strange how City beat Arsenal, Chelsea and yet drew agaisnt the likes of Bolton, Burnley, Birmingham, Hull, Fulham & Wigan. All the same I think Hughes should have be judged at the end of the season on the position of the club in the league and and cup performances.
It's too bad Mark Hughes was dismissed as Manchester City manager, but the owners were getting impatient.
Man City spent millions of pounds to bring in Emmanuel Adebayor, Kolo Toure, Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz, and Joleon Lescott over the summer. Sheikh Mansour expects a top four finish and Man City has failed to deliver thus far. Man City has drawn in many matches, hurting their standing.
Hopefully new boss Roberto Mancini can lead Man City to the top four finish desired by Mansour.
I don't see why you say 'Not delivered' they are 6th with a game in hand! Also they have been very unlucky in some results... Not only that but they have some VERY winnable results coming up! 6th is still better than they have ever got... I'm a Man City fan... I'd be happy with 6th this season, then 4th next season MAYBE!
Yeah you'd be happy with 6th so would Hughes, but that is not a winning mentality, Mancini is a winner, he wont settle for 6th, he wonts top 4. And as for the VERY winnable games coming up, Birmingham, Burnley, Hull, Fulham, Bolton & Wigan all should be wins but we failed to do so.

A manager needs a bit of time to build, Man Utd were goig to sack Fergie after appointing him but with a little time he delivered results and shit loads of trophies, Sparkie should of been given a bit more time, now I just hate Man City, sacking Sparkie is disgusting

Ha, freaking arabs think they can buy success, they know nothing about football.

football is getting ruined by power hungry, greedy, arrogant billionaires who want success in a season. as proven with ferguson you need to give somebody time.
its ridiculas. qpr with there billianair owner have had around 7 managers in like a 2 years, how many have chelsea had in two years? mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it fustrates me!

If only Man City could sort out their defence. Shay Given is a solid, but they need to improve leftback, right back and at center back really.

I dont get it as a united fan. City beat sunderland today and they beat arsenal and chelsea at the start of december and the end of november and they sack him, Maybe fullham beat united 3 0 but that doesnt mean fergie gets the sack. it takes time for the team to gel together a be sucessful and thats Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger are still at the clubs they were at 15 years ago.
willsmit119 2 years ago
yes it was strange how City beat Arsenal, Chelsea and yet drew agaisnt the likes of Bolton, Burnley, Birmingham, Hull, Fulham & Wigan. All the same I think Hughes should have be judged at the end of the season on the position of the club in the league and and cup performances.
STEPHENWRAYSFORD33 2 years ago
There's no stability for a Premier League manager these days...unless your name is Alex Ferguson or Arsene Wenger.

RCmack 2 years ago
I don't see why you say 'Not delivered' they are 6th with a game in hand! Also they have been very unlucky in some results... Not only that but they have some VERY winnable results coming up! 6th is still better than they have ever got... I'm a Man City fan... I'd be happy with 6th this season, then 4th next season MAYBE!
LamKoodle 2 years ago
Yeah you'd be happy with 6th so would Hughes, but that is not a winning mentality, Mancini is a winner, he wont settle for 6th, he wonts top 4. And as for the VERY winnable games coming up, Birmingham, Burnley, Hull, Fulham, Bolton & Wigan all should be wins but we failed to do so.
supercity19 2 years ago
Even the owners said "A top 6th finish is our aim..." You can't say Mark Hughes wasn't on target for that.
LamKoodle 2 years ago
Completely ridiculous sacking. Hughes is a top class manager.
