The voices in Vocaloid is actually "given" to the program. then the song makers can change the pitch and those things. in esence vocaloid is just a tool made so ppl that cant sing but can make songs to spread it. take for exemple cosMo (Bōsō-P). he cant sing for shit but he makes awsome lyrics.
