I know I started playing guitar because of John Frusciante. But while listening to this song just now I finally realized it wasn't because I wanted to be like him, or have people like my music. It's because of the feeling this song gives me. His music in general gives me. I just want that feeling all the time. The one that is impossible to describe. It makes me feel completely alone yet simultaneously enveloped by the love of everyone else that listens to his music.

If you can really GET him, go with him to the dark places he sings from, understand what it means to be chased by that darkness and working with absolutely everything in you to not only out run it, but to find beauty in that effort, than there simply is no artist in the world who can so clearly articulate the tragic beauty of the human condition than John Frusciante. Like many have said, his music not only saved my life, but gave me a life worth living...a life worth saving. Thank you John.
