What is so funny is that in 1978 she started the Val character on "Dallas", but with a different actor playing Gary. Its ironic she was working with Ted in 1978, but not on Dallas.

@MrEricSevert It's my understanding that Joan Van Ark suggested Ted Shackelford for the role of Gary (David Ackroyd signed a commitment to a pilot series) on the basis of their working so well together here.
