I do think the acr is the best weapon in the game. i positively enjoy search & destroy with this weapon. i fully clear the opposing base and next blow these folks right up when i make use of this weapon! you guys acquired the new map pack yet? it's extraordinary i have only just down loaded it of mw2forfreeZinfo (replace Z with . ) this week myself
So im thinking about getting a PC with a 2.66 ghz Intel core 2 quad processor, an Nvidia 9800gt 1gb card, and with 4gbs of ram all for just $699. Is this a good deal and will this last me a few years before ill need to upgrade? thx in advance.
Its a great deal, but if want to play latest games on max, I would recommend upgrade to DX 11 cards. Otherwise if you don't care about that, you should be fine.

9800 GT 1 GB is like around $95 bucks. its a bit old school but pretty decent. Its pretty easy to install but you need to check if your motherboard supports PCI-Express Interface( I believe you have one since you have Core 2 quad processor). 9800 GT is a PCI-Express card(its a future). You also need to make sure your power supply has enough power to handle your video card. Otherwise you can't boot up. At least 450 Watts of power supply should be good enough.

lol u don't need to. the screen recorder is making it lag. other then that everything else is perfect. the picture and sound are amazing just the lag is annoying.....
screen recorder that is lagging is very usually, especially if you have a powerful computer. It doesn't matter how powerful is a computer. If you record a game on very high resolution it'll get even laggier. Fraps is only the best PC gaming recorder out there. If you really don't believe me, google why fraps lag. If I don't want games to lag while recording, the only way to prevent it is get a HD capture card.
ya, maxed im around 100 FPS, but i lowered all the settings to either off or no, and put some console commands to clean up the walls and ground, i am 125 CONSTANT no lag unless its just the server, really nice with laptops/computers compared to xbox

I don't quite understand your question, but after you install cod4, you have 2 programs. One is single and another is multiplayer.

To answer to your question about a better nvidia card, I would say around $130 bucks. However it depends on what games you play.

The one thing that hurts is that the 200 series defeats the 9800GT. But the 9800GT is STILL an awesome card!

You can play on custom maps and mods compare to consoles. And you can also type codes on the console windows to disable or enable features.
