G.I. Joe:The Rise of Cobra (movie) midnight review

I didn't like GI Joe. it was flat and vapid. it had no character and couldn't relate to any of the characters. I grew up looking at the cartoon. It could of been a good movie if the right director made it. Even Michael Bay could do better than this. Basically I would say just watch Battlestar Gallactica on dvd instead. it's kind of similar in a way but a million time better.

Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow were 100% pure BADASS!! However I do feel they should have focused more on Cobra, due to the title, his "rise" is at the end of the movie, and he get's imprisoned with Destro, what the Hell? So technically they shouldn't have called the movie The Rise of Cobra, it's just G.I. Joe

G.I. Joe was so awesome....Snake Eyes is the best and Sienna Miller was so hot as the Baroness in the movie too....great review!

I think they kept it cartoonish because other movies have shown that fans prefer cartoonish movies if they source is a cartoon.

Example:

transformers is cartoonis and a big hit.

Dragonball tried to make it more "realistic" and failed bad

I was pleased watching the movie because it was pretty much like the cartoon AND they kept the GI Joe spirit:

the action , futuristic weapons and vehicles , and ninjas,etc

so I loved the movie, and I'm 29 years old lol , so is also for wrong up guys

Thats pretty much how the movie was for me. It was more good than bad so i enjoyed it:)
