He puts on this total fake happy go lucky family guy appearance on his vids, but he's just really fake, doing it to pull the "Woody" persona, and I hate people that act a certain way to get farther in life/in jobs, and that's what he does, he asked me to add him after we met, and after 2 weeks I had given up, his attitude drove me nuts.

Obviously you aren't going to learn advanced stuff like you will from watching Moho and other pros, but you can defininely learn from them if you're looking to do well in pubs. Because honestly, most of the stuff you learn from pros is only necessary when you play good players. Not noobs.

you don't learn anything good from watching public players anyway (besides sometimes a few good peaks, but even then scrimming achieves the same in less time).

@StandingWhy Not all pub players are like that though. I could be wrong, but I think TheMarkOfJ's W/L is somewhere over a 5 or 6, and I know for a fact that Sandy Ravage has a 16.0 w/l in Mw2(of course Sandy was a competitive PC player)

Generalizations are, by definition, not very accurate. But your general impression of a large varying topic. All I'm saying is that there are good pub players and you can learn a lot from some of them. Especially if you're new to the game.

Your list is, imo, the best commentators to watch. I don't miss many of the top four's video's. Woody just sucks anymore and I've never been a fan of wings or jaws. If i want a high score game, markofj. If I need to laugh, elpresador. For a little of both I'll watch fist and Jive. I rarely miss your video's too, because I learn a lot from the way you play and you're willing to teach your style also.

also, when I watch COD videos, I want to see the best players, I want to see the best games, and I want to learn from watching them play. When I watch the pub only players who are only concerned with their K/D I don't learn anything or get anything out of their games. I guess I'm one of the few who watches COD videos to actually gain something from them. That's why I love the competitive players channels so much. You actually learn from watching them.

for some reason I just can't watch the big youtubers or the guys who are partnered up with the big youtubers. There is something about them that I just don't like. I guess the best way to describe it is how someone could pick say underground hip hop over main stream. I love watching the channels where the player only has 5,000 or 10,000 subs. Because you can clearly see they are doing it for the fun and they appreciate comments, likes, and they interact more. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

@ASwiftHippie agreed to a certain extent. The reason why I watch the competitive players is because for the most part they are all active within their channel. They'll answer comments and questions, but more importantly they post the best game lay by far. Don't get me wrong, Sandy Ravage is fun to watch, but personally he isn't showing me anything I don't already know.But watching the pro players in NA and EU you can learn the little things that the pub YT's don't even know about.

@HeRoiiNgSuS Hmmm... I started watching YouTube to get better when Mw2 came out(because I'm a perfectionist) and I found this huge growing community of people. You can definitely learn from the better pub players. For example, I watched Sandy Ravage's FFA's on his recent games(because he didn't post Black Ops) and emulated what he did. I was in the Top 200 in the first week and the only lethal killstreak I used was dogs. But yea, watching competitive is definitely helpful.
