why when i try to open any of "pick a task"options (2:03 ) it doesnt appear nothin.. idk why?!!

or when you right click on your desktop and chose "properties"option doesnt appear me nothing ..../can you help me??

@4r7m1r Hi there, Not sure what you are trying to do. When you have the desktop, you should see options like New, Display, Personalize..Do you see those? Also if you have icons, can you right click and select Properties? Lmk

@Syadow98 Typically happens when the machine is affected with virus. Did you try rebooting and also starting in safe mode??

oh my god! I am so very frusturated. when I want to become an admin, like when I click on anything in the control panel... it does nothing... i cant change the type, the passwords, anything... I think im on a limited account but I dont know who the system admin in my family is... its not my mom or me and My sister wont give me her password... I am so very confused on what to do... I just would like to change My account to admin so I can make certain changes... Please resond soon... thank you.

@brisingr147 Sorry about all the issues you are having. If your sister is indeed Admin on that machine, I would ask her to make you an admin. If you are admin and cant open up Ctrl Panel, then you may have a virus on the machine. I am hoping it is the first case!

@deweyreesemalcom I have had similar issue before, found out it was adware. may have to run Virus Scan on your machine.

@baghul yes, i did and i found one virus. the only way i could remove it was by shutting down "system restore" and for that i needed to click properties on "my computer" :/

Most probable cause is a virus or adware on your machine. I had the same issue in Vista.

Sadly, had to rebuild machine

Typically there is a switch or button that you have to press to enable wireless. If u do not see one I would recommend going to Network Connections under the Start Menu

When you change it, there should be a box that asks whether to keep the new resolution or change the resolution back to what it was before. Do you see such a box when you click to change?
