I always add vermicelli (rice noodle) at the end. If you like vermicelli, soak it a few minutes in a bowl of water, Then throw away the water. Put the soft vermicelli in the hot pot at the end, do not overcook the vermicelli.

@demonauo2, you mean hot pot ingredients? They are made up by flour and fish and artificial color, thought they look different. It's easy to get them in Taiwan, but I don't know if they are available in other countries.

in the US do have hotpot but overall not like you find it in Shanghai or Zhengzhou- places I've lived. Based on what you've said so far I can tell your children will be born without assholes. Think about it.
