what size carb you have on it. if you got 500 you should have a least something bigger than a 750 holley. and what kinda lifters you have. any real motor dont have no hydro lifters in it. so if you have it that bullshit that you have 500 horses. im not hating but what is this motor bore out to? how the motor look you havent tookin it to a dyno. im not hating im just say 500 no sir i dont thing so

@Cutlass81383 Not necessarily true. My '79 Z-28 has a 350 sbc bored .40 over with a 750 Proform carb, as well as hydraulic lifters. The machine shop that rebuilt the motor gave a reserved estimate at 500 horsepower. I haven't taken it to the track yet, as I bought the car during the offseason. I should have some videos of it running the 1/8th in the next couple of months. Feel free to check it out.

@simpsonfan13 no but you can get a good idea about combination the only thing you cant see is whats within the heads and what type cam kit there running . you can tell me size of motor what type heads you have what type manifold your running what type carb ETC, and give you a good idea what hp range your in

I mean to get an idea I have a 383 stroker with trickflow heads 195cc 65cc chamber, edelbrock air gap intake, holley double pumper 770cfm carb a lunati cam kit with 268/280 duration 504 lift , a PRO BUILT 700r4 tranny with B@M shift kit. with 3.73 rear gears and 2500 stall and IM still only pushing 450HP 470tq. and most people know HP sells cars, torque wins races. so if this is a normal 350 is 500hp possible yes, but thats a crap load of work. I doubt it.

@MrMth01 lol ha ha.... yeah tell them to fire it up and have a listen you can usually tell from the compression of the exhaust and the idle what an engine has if it's naturally aspirated :)

@1690edgington lol ha ha.......you can't tell HP by looking at the motor... you need to hear it first. that is actually a 500hp motor believe it or not. Look at a Nascar motor... it looks JUST like this one,....except the heads are different and the intake is different and they have 700hp with one carb....like I said you can't tell by looks alone.
