my buddy has a 07 cherokee he ordered 6k low beams im installing it any ideas how to? like what would be the best way for the relay? he told me the first time he bought hids he took it to a shop and they could not get the hids to work that tells me they were doing something wrong
question...i installed HIDs on my jeep grand cherokee. 2006 and the HIDs were 5900k......thing i notcied however, is both the LOW and HIGH beams give off more power on the passenger side then the driver....is this normal??do you have the same issue? im thinking maybe an electrical problem? not sure thouh
@marlon2k9 haha nevermind i figured it out. im an idiot. i accidently turned the bolt to move the direction of the light, making it look like it was dimmer, when really it was just facing down. fixed now!
@StevesMusicChannel lol It is illegal to change the direction of your lights as they come from the factory pointed in specific directions. Yes your driver side headlight does not point directly forward like the passenger light. The reason being so you do not blind oncoming traffic. Not that I care or that authorities will get you but oncoming traffic might flash their brights at you if they are too bright.
@StevesMusicChannel It could be a ballast or simply its reflector is broken or even adjusted poorly. Try ordering a new set of ballasts off of ebay, make sure you order the right ones, there is a few different types of wattage on them.
@marlon2k9 hey man i got a 2007 jeep garnd cherokee and i just got some halo projectors with HID's and the kit do u think i could get away with plug n go or should there be a relay....and how did u do urs

@LTV90 That's BS, really. The OEM's use 4300k, which IMHO, is pure white. These are kinda blue. I've since taken them out but I miss them and they will be reinstalled tomorrow as I can't take NOT having them anymore!
@LTV90 You can get a tinted bulb at any K, I have a set of 6000K with a blue tint on them, I took them out because when it snows it is a blue wall in front of me. I have 8000K white ones in, looks like fluorescent lighting all over it's really neat!
That's mostly the camera, in person it's actually not that bad.. and yes I've seen them during nighttime... driving in the opposite direction, and in front of, where I saw them in the rearview... not bad at all.
things looks awesome man, i was wondering how they compare to a stock audi or bmw or acura with stock xenons...you know the nice crisp blue-ish look? I'm trying to decide if I should get 5000k or 6000k because I saw a pair of 6000k on a new accord and it looked kinda ricey, almost too blue if ya know what I mean. How would you rate yours or what type of stock xenon would you compare it to?
Too ricer blue for me

@arnoni11 I'm not sure as I ordered a kit that included a pre-wired relay. Everyone should do this.

@StevesMusicChannel Doesn't sound normal. Maybe a problem with your ballast?

i thought 5000k was pure white but it does not look like it. If not then which ones are pure white?
