  • There is as a matter of fact one aspect that isn't mentioned. A modeled instrument can be tweaked after the fact and adjusting the parameters of the actual instrument rather than using EQ and compressors etc. i.e you can first play with some generic piano sound during the recording session and then remodel the instrument when you are in the mixing process to sit in the mix, stand out in the mix or whatever you think you need. Me needs to check out Pianoteq closer, me thinks! : )
