The ending was such a rush job is really the one true problem I always had with the episode. The rest was still typical ridiculous Season 3 low grade stuff. But the whole Galvatron/Rodimus rush battle and his quick return just seemed like "Huh? Boy that was fast." like the writer had to squeeze in a quick ending and came up with that nonsense. Great build up but really bad last minute or so to the episode that kinda ruins the episode for me. Always had and still does after seeing it again.

The writers on Transformers are so STUPID... they always contradict themselves...

1) Starscream was totally obliterated in the movie... by only ONE shot of Galvatron's fusion cannon. Yet, Cyclonus(and other Autobots and Decepticons) just got shot by Galvatron... yet, still lives?? Was he made out of a better metal than Starscream or something?

2) In the episode "Heavy Metal War"... the Constructicons were made on Earth, by Megatron. Yet, in Season 2...they create Megatron, on Cybertron??

Silverbolt has four engines when they go after Cyclouns-Starscream's group. Oh, and Kup drives backwards when the Autobots counter attacks to rescue Octane. Galvatron is shown fighting off the large group of Autobots, but next thing we know, he has escaped (albeit barely injured), heading back to Chaar. In several shots in Chaar, Cyclonus/Starscream and Octane mouth each other's dialogues

Love this episode... it's 1986 all over again. The music at 4:50 is so EPIC... it was used throughout the US G1 cartoon. It is so KICKASS during that segment. The part when Starscream lets himself known to Galvatron at 5:18 is so CLASSIC. Galvatron is shook!! Starscream is one of the GREATEST villains out there. He is so evil. lol

nice, i missed the voice switching thing. The editors of this and GI joe smoked alot of pot!! The ending of this episode sucked, is there a continuation in the next episode? Guess I will find out. The new endings suck, the writers are just killing 3 minutes of time, We already know all the crap they are telling us. They are so lazy not wanting to add 3 more minues to an episode.

I like how Galvatron's reaction to Starscream's claim that destroying him was a disservice to all Decepticons is to transform into canon mode, ready to blast him to bits again.

Although ol' Galvatron must have gotten weaker after his lava bath because a close range blast only knocks the crap out of Cyclonus, while a blast from a distance was more than enough to reduce Starscream to ashes.
