  • HAHAHAHAHa i'm dutch this sounds so fucked up for me xD

  • Lol I am dutch and I can understand this with no problem :P

  • I loooove the way Shaun Morgan sounds when he sings in his native language!

  • My best friend is from South Africa. She's developed an American accent when she speaks with anyone other than her family because otherwise, with her heavy South African accent, people don't understand her. xD But their language is so beautiful. D: I'm jealous sometimes.

  • god dammit i wanna learn that language

  • BUhahahaha Ek kort nie 'n vertaling nie!!!! :P Nou waar is daai bier???

(translation: BUhahahaha I don't need a translation!!!! :P Now where is that beer???)

  • its swahili

  • @grimreap93 I assure you that it is Afrikaans and not Swahili, seeing as I speak Afrikaans fluently.

  • @donnerflug It's Afrikaans....

  • lol this is like one of my fav songs by them

  • This is Afrikaan ain't it?

  • @Damob47 Afrikaans not Afrikaan...

  • ...the English title of this song is "Come With Me", not Come Drink With Me?. Second, Shaun is singing in his native language of Afrikaans, which is spoken by the Boers, who were Dutch settlers in Southern Africa. Seether is from Southern Africa, so it does make sense. Also, Shaun's mother was of African descent, and his father of English...

  • just a little correction ( common mistake, dont want any trouble) but its not southern africa its south africa ( southern refers to everything below Sambia)

  • @SkateTeamRS YAY!!!! SOMEONE WITH A BRAIN!!!!!!

  • well guys im from germany so yes its pretty similair to a special accent talking in germany only spoken in the northern part!^^

  • what part of Germany are you from?

  • northern...almost coast

  • it's africaans. it sounds dutch because the boors brought their dutch language with them whn they settled in south africa.

  • Afrikaans.

  • perfect song for the end of the album...lol

  • Kom Saam Met My Ons sal die 'lede agterlaat Kom Saam Met My En ons sal sien wat gebeur Ons is so bly Dit is die einde van die plaat Kom Saam Met My Ons wil dit alles beter maak Jy kan hier bly Sodra jy alles gaan beleef Die plaat's verby En ons soek 'n koue bier Kom drink met my Daar is so veel om oor to praat Kom Saam Met My Ons wil dit alles beter maak
  • Come with me We'll leave the past behind Come with me And we'll see what happens We are so happy It's the end of the record Come with me We want to make it all better You can stay here As long as you will expereince everything This album's over And we want a cold beer Come drink with me There is so much to talk about Come with me We want to make it all better
  • Ik versta altijd 'Sinterklaas z'n been' op 1:06. XD

  • Someone called it historic Dutch? It was a dialect of Dutch not historic Dutch

  • "Kom Saam Met My" doesn't mean "come drink with me" it means "come with me" (literally, get together with me).

    Fix it, plz.

  • isnt "met" german...same with "saam"

  • its rather dutch :p

met = with and saam is supposed to be samen to be correct dutch .. it means together

  • It's Afrikaans, which is derived from Dutch but also mixed with other languages. It's South African, like Seether.

  • ye i know

dutch is my primary language =)

  • w00t!

  • yus..seether is from africa :3

  • south africa^^

  • im from there too they are my favorite band next to linkin park

  • ww you lucky bish... i wanna go to ...south africa

  • If someone could explain what all these lyrics mean that would be awesome! I know this is his native tongue but what do the all the lyrics translate to?

  • What French???!! lol, I'm french and for me African language have nothing alike french, lol....

  • it's afrikaans, and to say it easy(i hope no afrikaners are mad at me) it's historic Dutch.

  • I know, it's a little ridiculous, really. It's closer to German.

  • thats what i was thinking

  • really? because these are all, i repeat all, dutch words. maybe spelled different sometimes, but to me it's like listing to someone who is speaking dutch but doesnt really get the hang of it.

  • lol he's speaking afrikaans. It's sort of like dutch, but 'not'.

  • I know afrikaans, but it comes from Dutch right? I mean, how could it not? I'm not afrikaans but Dutch and I understand everything.

    Anyway, nice slow song.

  • yes it comes from dutch.

  • Afrikaans contains alot of words we know. If it were Dutch, the phrases would be placed differently.

  • In Afrikaans the lyrics are:

Kom saam met my ons sal die lede agter laat

Kom saam met my en ons sal sien wat gebeur

Ons is so bly dit is die einde van die plaat

Kom saam met my ons wil dit alles beter maak

Jy kan hier bly sodra jy alles kan beleef

die plaat's verby en ons soek 'n koue bier

Kom drink met my daar is so veel om oor te praat

Kom saam met my ons wil dit alles beter maak

Ons wil dit alles beter maak X 2 maar ons kan nie

  • First of it is sung in his native tongue (Afrikaans) and it has a title; it's Kom Saam Met My.

  • its African or something (their native language)

  • This isn't french ;) But the song is cool (Karma and effet bonus track)^^

  • Yeah, when I first made the video, I thought it was french. XP

  • @mentalcase13 Noooo... its not french!!! It's Afrikaans (South Africa Language)

  • @mentalcase13 Dude its south african

  • @DaoSofchaos hmm more then lieklya south african dialect, south africa was a european colony n saron gas is from south africa so its highly likely
