the reason why us muslims have to eat the meat halal is because its not clean if its not. to kill an animal int the halal way you must cut the jugular vein not the hole head so the brain is still controlling the heart to pump all the blood out. why the blood must be taken out is because there is a waste product in blood which the kidneys filter and urine is a result thats why we eat kill the animal in a halal way.

This video misses the point. Halal/kosher slaughter practices are cruel and inhumane. During these barbaric practices, animals are fully conscious and aware they are being attacked, and that they are dying. Normal, proper slaughterhouses keep the animals calm, then electrically stun them, inducing a grand-mal seizure. During this, their throats are cut and the animals bleed out painlessly and unconscious. Cortisol levels in the animals' blood PROVE that KOSHER/HALAL = CRUEL!! It MUST stop!

If butcher/meat store says their meat is Halal and you have no reason to doubt them, so be it. The meat's halal. The HMA strikes me as a "make work program" for unemployed graduates of madressas/Islamic religious schools. HMA blackmails meat stores into paying 'inspectors'. If the store refuses to pay, they are black listed as being non-halal.

I agree, you can't really trust if the meat is halal or not. Alot of people lie, just to get your money. I don't trust maple lodge, popeyes or even some KFC restaurants that claim to say they are Halal. I think it's impossible to make thousands of meat halal in a huge business. I think the smaller muslim butchar stores are the best way to go.

Not electrocuted, goofball. A high-voltage electric current of sufficient current, applied across the brain, causes INSTANT tonic-clonic (grand mal) seizure. This is NOT the same thing as that time you stuck the butter knife in the electric outlet in your kitchen just to see what happened. One is a very humane method of stunning an animal so it can be killed painlessly. The other is a really stupid thing to do.

BTW: The other humane stun method is captive bolt. The animals never feel a thing!

@zaqmc actualy draining the blood from the animal slowly causes extreme pain. When i go to the grocery store in the halal section i examine the chicken breasts and their are hemorage and scar marks on the meat which is a sign of struggle and suffering. Blood loss causes the animal to hemmorage and the pain is not releived until the spinal cord is severed or cut.

What you need to know is that the prophet Mohamed (SAW) didn't eat meat every day, week or a Month. This is what our Imams failed to tell us or simply they don't want them to tell us.
