You need more tension on the rear sprockets.

When you store the model do you keep it OFF the tracks ?

eg' on blocks with the tracks/wheels hanging freely.

@ian8354 please read below comments reguarding the tracks. I used too, but have since moved onto a 1/6th panther and this tank has not been touched in a good 6 months. Also, its the rear idlers, not sprockets

@ian8354 The metal tracks do add alot of weight to the model, and although the effects are not obivious at the start, they will make themselfs clear soon enough. As mentioned below, this tank has done a lot of miles and alas the motors / gears gave out. They will also decrease your running time as the motors are having to work harder to shift the model. But if you want to use it outside, theres no question you will need metal tracks. Mine now sits on a plaque on the coffee table

@nguyenkhan202 Hi there, the tank is just the tamiya 1/16th full option king tiger. when buying this tank, if you want it to run then you need to get a 4 channel remote control and a battery pack for the tank. also, metal tracks needed to be bought if you plan on running it outside. all in all, i reckon I've spent about £500 pounds on it.

it depends with these tanks really. if you want one made and painted for you, you will be looking at around 1000 GBP. but, if you build it like i did, and then find a good painter, you can probably save around 400 pounds. these tanks are not that difficult to build, they just need patience. i am moving to 1/8th soon, as it will be a present to myself after i finsh my exams
