@0Kitana0 O.o arcade machines aren't that expensive... i bought my ultimate mk3 arcade machine for 800, my double dragon for 350 aaand my WWF pinball machine for 500. just look on kijiji xD they sell them used and usually they give good deals. plus im sure they'd let you try them out before you buy them. mine were in good condition too.
I still remember my little brother taking me to the store to check this game out. I put in a quarter and lost but when they knocked me into the pit, I was in love. Blood and gore, the rest is history! I was hooked, I would leave the house early before work so I could go play early in the morning. I would be there with my fatalities listed and try to pull each one off, thinking I was the man...lol. I have been into fighting games and MK since! That was maybe 18 or 19 years ago!
Im 15 so when i first say mk2 on snes it was the greatest game my brother bought mk1-umk3 on snes and then mk4 on n64 i used to go to the arcades and play mk1 and about 7-8 years later i decided i want to buy a arcade machine my parents thought i was fucking crazy lol. I saw a golden tee i was going to turn into mame but it was shit so i saw a mk1 for sale and everyone thought i wasent gonna be able to fix it and make it a mk2 but they where wrong and know I finally got my dream machine. So cool
That's true. I started with MK2, and then, while searching and searching for an MK1, happened upon an Ebay auction for a KILLER CONDITION Gauntlet Legends. To make a long story short, guy sold it to me for high bid of $300 and now I have two cabs, and STILL looking for a good MK1, lol!
Yeah BigPete, i made my Astro City replica, now i'm looking to make a MKII machine! I have no space but i'll make it fit somehow! Thanks for the Video!
Nice work man...too bad that one side was faded, but they all do that if they get exposed to the sunlight in an arcade or restaurant or something. A person could make real money off of restoring the side-art on these cabs. My MK2 has one side that is faded more where the logo is. All the ones I have seen on Ebay or Craig's List seem to be that way, too.
thanks for the comment. The side that is faded is in perfect condition just faded, the other side is mint. Like you said there all gunna have some sunlight hitting them and there almost 20 years old already.. Man time flies
awesome awesome awesome
