  • I'm sorry but... its black...

  • I need to find a female goldfish :(

because i have kept a male goldfish for about 3 to 4 years now, and i can see the breeding tubercules, so now i just need to know which is female and male to buy at the store.

  • how can you tell if the oranda is male or female?

  • do U know if the common goldfish is male or female? cuz it'll be interesting 2 see wot the babies will look like if it breeds with your fantail

  • I found out a few months ago that the common goldfish is indeed a male. I had to give him to a friend though because he started attacking my fancies :(. So no babies from him. I was curious about that too though!

My friend's got a tank of comets already, he's doing very well with her:)

  • well I've found some fish eggs in my pond, but I never saw the spawning, so I don't know the parentage, although my pond has a mixture of shubunkins, commons and fantail, so I never know

  • all of you fish are very nice even there fins makes me wanna get some gold fish

  • A Beauty!! ;0)

I love the tank deco too. nice 1 :0)x

  • thank you :)

  • I Just got 2 blk moor's any advice they r in a 10 gal till next week or so whn I get a 55gal aNY tips on getting them big n keeping the color black ??? I Thx!! p.s. how do u tell the sex??

  • I have black moors and they have some color lose but they were like that when i got them from the pet store. If you keep there water temp within the range of a black moor there color shouldn't fade. They loose there color when the water is too warm. I found the optimal temp range to be 72-74 degrees. Since i have been keeping him in that temp his color is not diminishing anymore. My black moor is in a 10g tank i have a video if your interested.

  • My orange fantail is a female, they bred late this past spring and I have a few babies from them that I'm trying to raise. :)

  • Thats so cute!

I'm going this week to get myself an Oranda and probably a Black Moor, so excited!

    Beautiful Oranda by the way.
