If you don't mind me asking, how big (or small) is your boat?

I am going to be taking over my father in-laws 14' sangster next spring and I'm wondering if it could make it to some of these awesome destinations you have been to. I think Desolation Sound Resort looks like a great way to spend a week. As well as Princess Louisa. Although those rapids seem a little spooky for a novice boater like me.

As long as you have all the safety gear including a VHF radio and extra fuel, you should have no problem making it to these places as long as the weather is good.

Our boat is a 18.5' with a 165 horse inboard motor.

I actually spent a week climbing those mountains with my youth group we were sometimes jealous sitting at base camp watching the boats with electricity and flush toilets go by.

How about those Malibu Rapids. We went up there and and my Dad went through them fast and we were TERRIFIED. And how about the temperature of the water, COLD! But so GORGEOUS. We had a house in Pender Harbour for awhile. We miss BC so much!!! LOVE IT!
