Update on the boys condition: He was FINALLY released from the hospital this week and is now in the healing process with MULTIPLE broken bones. I made my statement to the police on Sunday. The thing is I usually NEVER make statements to cops but this is a crime against a child and I do not take that lightly. So I was more than happy to make a statement this time around.

Where did you get those generals colored pencils? When you do the graffiti, are you doing it on a flat finished car or glossy? I use those fine tip sharpies, but they wont write on a dull surface. The pens are brand new but they go dry. I wondered if maybe I sprayed gloss on the car, or even semi gloss, they would write better.
@Laidoffsick I KNOW EXACTLY what you describe trust me!! I do!! The way you use Sharpies as they dry up while doing graffiti is to have a few pieces of paper when you start to draw and then it dries you write on the paper to make it come back wet. Then do more and so on so on. OR you can write then put the cap on and shake the pen towards the tip to get it wet from forced gravity. I run into this all the time. I rotate using 5 or 6 different sharpies for a project.
What's up with Trainlife? I just discovered it a couple of weeks ago and signed up. They were all very friendly and welcomed me in. There's some drama here I don't know about, I guess. Sorry to hear that something bad went down with you and them. There's too much trouble in life to create more. All I know is this is only train modelling, and it's impossible to do it wrong. There's as many ways to do it as there are folks in the hobby. My way is right for me, yours for you, etc. etc.

GREAT video AL!!! You are the man, in the hobby and in the real world. Props to you for helping that poor kid out, hope and pray that he turns out OK. I hope that the a__hole who hit him loses his a** and does some jail time. Love your thoughts on TL, I think you got them just right.
