it may be an age old dicipline but that dosnt mean its right. Anyway fr a christian the teachings of the jesus in the new testament are faar more important to live by then the old testement. And there are passgees in the old which contradict the new. Plus Not everything in the old testament is meant to betaken literlally. It even mentions part like stoning to death rebellious children and adulterrors too.

I totally agree with you on the whole spanking aspect. The media is acting like kate beat leah and she didn't. I was spanked as a child and I turned out ok. Sometimes kids need to be spanked.
