not much you could do at the time, Alex.... but you gotta admit.... we didn't do half bad.... and yes... as you said on the tape.... we do have a keyboard.... ME! XD (It was incredibly hard to go from setting to setting every few measures or two in parts 1,2,4 and 5 at that tempo... i was pushing buttons like crazy, hoping to make it in time O_o)
The band did an incredible job and despite the screwed up Percussion Judge they were able to perform this show in Dallas for the field show competition and take home a 1st place in their division and received the "Grand Champion" award. That should say something!
That was this past New Years just a few weeks ago. They were awesome! Out of 1800 students and 14+ schools the Cotton Bowl Promoters selected ONE drumline to lead all of the other bands out onto the field for the pre-game and half-time show, and they picked Northshore's Drumline!!!! During Showcase 2007 the percussion judge gave the drumline a 3. Now if they were truly a 3 they wouldn't have been selected to lead the all the other bands for Cotton Bowl.
i remember this band! they went on right before us! we were in the tunnel i remember them! i loved the show and it was unique! i am in the comeaux colorguard. i loved the theme it was awesome. flags had great patterns also. but they would have stayed together if they counted. (i am talking about the flags) i should know because that's how we screwed up our show
Yea, too bad this whole show is almost directly copied from Ronald Reagan.. any innovative idea you see in this show can be traced back to Ronald Reagan's 03 show
yeah I would have been on the 2nd deck but my band president forced me to come down to our band. Then after most of the shows he realized that I was filming. What can I do?
haha thats my band. i was int his show. this is still my favorite proformance ever!! and its two years old

I thought they did really well. Especially bouncing back from the idiot director they had two years prior that really messed up the program
