lol, I feel these players' pain. I scored an own goal once, but it was very embarrassing. I was running back to the middle, like many people in this vid, but I tripped over myself, and as someone crossed the ball in, I hit a header into my own goal whilst doing a face-plant. I quit soccer shortly after. ;)

there are much funnier own goals. Traohe's own goal that put Liverpool out of the FA cup a couple of years ago was quite funny. I've also seen a couple where it was a free kick from close to their own box, they try and pass it back to the keeper who completely misses it and rolls into the net.
