After Cut, I was hooked! In The Beginning made me sit up and take notice. That funkified 12" version blew my ass away! The B-side for Earthbeat '81 (UK) went places never previously traversed. Difficult Fun shoulda' been the follow-up. How does one follow-up the weirdly brilliant Cut? One produces an evenly more weirdly brilliant Return Of The Giant...
Im so sorry to hear that Ari died . Loved this band back in the day they were realy something different and you had to love that because all the other music at that time just fucking sucked !
Hey we are putting on a tribute event for Ari Up in Bristol, UK with Tessa Pollitt, Hollie Cook, Viv Albertine, Adrian Sherwood and Mark Stewart! Please watch our ad youtube.com/watch?v=qE5BCjxH5gM and check out our facebook event if you are interested? Big Love
