This person wasn't ready to fly actively in mountain conditions. Wright after take off wing surged and then flew over (that's where the brakes have to be buried) to prevent collapse. In situation like this you cannot think what to do, you have to have reflex to counter the wing's behavior.MORE ground handling training would definitely help.

fuck it. i had hoped i would one day be able to purchase a powered paraglider but after seeing this happen 100 times im done. i probably couldnt afford it anyway....

@mxf7010g8k my club has been flying for 10 years plus with just one death and 2 broken bones....its as safe as you make it
