This song is from Autumn Equinox released on September 1998, one of the Season's (There are all 4). However, it has been released on other albums like Moon's Milk (In Four Phases).
I've loved Coil since I first heard them (in the early 90s). They have consistently produced some of the best, most sensual modern music I know of. Eternal spring nights.
(I just picked up a CD copy of Coil's "The Remote Viewer." Killer stuff.)
beautiful, i love their more modern live versions of Amethyst Deceivers with the xylophone and that "Slur" style sampling, winding and sliding, string synth. And that clone looking stage model that is frequently shown throughout these shows is much more than oddly disturbing. This song is beautifully hypnotic.
...and also of Black Sun Productions. COIL collaborated with the "ghost boys" and often featured them in live performances, especially around this time period.
Miss you Jhon Balance, why did you have to die? Will always love you!
