oh, you want the single player barracks. my mistake. the Theater of War barracks is for Multiplayer. you can access the baracks in the single player campaign rather than the theater of war, you wont get to use it though until you have gone beaten the "prelude to war" which is basically battles that led up to WW3. get back to me if you have been the prelude to war. and btw, your barracks in theatre of war is different from the single player barracks.

there actually isnt that many commands. the game is fluent and will recognize commands besides the every once in a while hic-cup. the multiplyayer is great with the theater of war and will keep you busy for a while

its pretty fun online. One time I got my team a win by sacraficing my entire army to give them enough time to get combine their power and destroy the enemy :)

Later got enough command points to get reinforcements, bought a shitload of infantry, snuck around the battle because the enemy thought I was done and captured all of their uplinks lol

its a personall preference thing. I personally dont like call of duty waw just because trey arch makes the game fell way to different and it just makes me feel like im stupid when i play. but its still a good game. its not call of duty 4 but its good. endwar is fun for the fact that the multiplayer is bottomless with the online war.

my suggestion would be gears of war 2 . I think that this game is easily game of the year. maybe even better than cod 4

to call in an airstrike in the demo you first have to capture one(or more)of the points and then upgrade it to airstrike where you will then get the airstrike

it could possible get up to 4 on 4. or thats what the developers are saying. they say after the game there will be an update including the 4 v 4. But if they dont follow through with that then it will be, at the small amount, 3 v 3. so dont worry you and 2 other friends can rock it out. playing the game 1 v 1 takes a lot of time positioning everyone before you even see any action. with 3 everyone can have their own jobs and they can have more troops doing that job.

currently the vip demo is out for the 360 only, i managed to get into that. Im sure whenever the demo is released to the public for 360 it will be the same for PS3.

and no, you are not in charge of a certain branch. you can customize and upgrade your units to however you please and you can deploy whatever you want. when online, with multiple people on your team, you might want to strategize by sticking to what you work with best. basically, instead of just tanks you can deploy everything...

Nice, By customization do you mean by Armor, Rounds and Camo etc...? Also what kind of support weapons are there E.G. WMDs air strikes etc and are the units deployed by air drop or from structures?

as far as customization goes, take tanks for example, you can change the tread for faster movement or the armor for better damage resistance but it reduces speed. Or you can upgrade the guns your infantry has. for each faction there is over 100 upgrades for their units. basically you can upgrade whatever you can think of. as far as support you have things like, air trikes, EMP blasts (disables electronic units), and "force recon" which is basically your quick attack from behind enemy lines.

oh yes, im sorry, i forgot to mention WMDS. It might be different in the game but, america has a kinetic strike which looks and feels devistating in the game, while europe has some sort of orbital laser that focuses more on putting a lot of damage on a small area. with the tanks you probably will be able to upgrade the turret to allow for more damage and the rounds can be upgraded aswell. and no, The EMP is a strike that is focused on an individual unit. it only affects that one, not all of them

Well upgrading a tanks turret could make it more effective at longer range, stronger or more accurate. I hope they have options to change the rounds tanks use like in real life, there's only two rounds that i know of and they are explosive(has a name but forgot) and Kinetic(armor piercing). Also can you put up defensive turrets to protect strategic points?

im sure whatever you can imagine will be an upgrade. I dont believe their is turrets to defend certain points but they do have sentries on command points. you can lay minefields though :P. not to mention launch UAV's. there are a vast majority of units though that can do that job better than a turret. you have rifleman, engineers, tanks, trasports, gunships, command centers, and artillary. each is stronger against certain units and weaker against others. plus its all control by your voice!
