@scotchie69 Jerry sang many of the same parts with Layne... AIC always had the harmonic sounds of the two of them singing, and it was one of the elements that made the band so great. The band still has the "same" sound, but it's just hollower because the true frontman is gone. Still Jerry was always an important vocal contributor, so that's why their sound isn't completely destroyed... but like I said, it's hollowed without Layne.

Actually, Jerry sounds like Jerry. The problem is, much of Jerry's singing in the original lineup was wrongly attributed to Layne because of Jerry being so low profile. Most AIC fans haven't had the chance to see this band live back then. Had they had the chance, they would know that that voice there is Jerry's.
Jerry isn't getting nearly as much credit for his work as he deserves. He's an awesome songwriter and has a nice voice.

Yeah, also remember too in most songs they did Duets which make most think Jerry sounds like Layne
