ive been enchanted with marilyn since my teens..she was special in the sense that she had the vulnerability and innocence of a child..and yet the sexuality and beauty of no other actress in hollywood..she was a tortured soul..like me and now i found out she had bipolar like me...whether she was killed or committed suicide.her life was tragic she yearned for things any normal person wants..love acceptance and respect and happiness yet all this eluded her ..she breaks my heart a beautiful tragedy

My Mother shares her birthday =) Just looking at pictures of her makes me swoon, she was so achingly gorgeous, and yet so intelligent and sensitive. A beautiful woman on the outside and a lost little girl on the inside. A tragic thing to lose but I do not focus on that, I love to marvel at what she gave us instead; legends never die, and she will live forever in the hearts of so many because no matter how she touches you, she still reaches inside and just grabs your heart...<3

Marilyn/Norma Jean was perhaps one of the most beautiful, and most misunderstood people of her time. She was far too intelligent for the studio heads of the 1950's,...she was very independant-minded,....very strong, and yet highly sensitive. She had a great compassion for living things, and I think it hurt her to see other living things suffer. She was the type of girl who would cry when roses were cut, because she didn't want anything to die. I think that says a LOT about her spirit.
