How sure are you it's a 500hp busa? You aren't. The Ford GT ran 270mph, but with miles and miles of road ahead, not in a standing mile. Joe Amo's busa did that too, but on salt in Boneville. On salt you lose ~15% of your speed due to lack of traction.

'Slated for 280mph" 'is just on paper, not road. Till the 273mph barrier is broken by a car in the standing mile, you will just have to admit that bikes are faster than cars...
