i like the hinge put ive never had a problem rockn the full sgm 10 mags in, on closed bolt the kitchen conversion i did wish they sold a hinged version on a standard saiga 12

the new saiga 12's look pretty cool i like the way the mag goes in but for the regular rifle versions i still think doing the conversion yourself would be the best way to do it. Russian AK's are the best!
