Ride snowboards are made in China and their skies are a piece of sh*t. The Chinese have no respect to the environment and a company like K2 would rather save money and charge you more so they can get a bigger profit, at the sacrifice of quality. The Chinese have no honor and have no accountability, Chinese products are bascially a piece of junk you get at WalMart!
I bought one of those...It started chattering like crazy within the first few months as I started mastering intermediate terrain. Needless to say I got less than two months of heavy use out of it before it got replaced with a NS Heritage.
Just out of interest, how heavy are you and how long is your Ride Control board?
I took mine to a Snow + Rock shop and the guy in there said it's a good board and won't start to chatter. I bought mine longer than what people normally get (it comes up to my eyes). But I can turn on it.

I got the ride control, newer version. sick as hell with the carbon fiber and everything. That combined with burton bindings is amazing.
