Well there's a free program called CamStudio that I use to record it. (If you Google it I'm sure you'll find it). Then I use Windows Movie Maker to speed it up and add transitions, titles, music, etc.

You go to Effects, find "Speed Up x2" or whatever and then drag and drop the effect onto the video clip in the timeline three or four times... lol hopefully that made sense.
