  • SENATOR HUBERT MORRISON!

    like this movie! thx!:)

  • 60's dances kick ass.

  • Eric is a hottie for sure, but the pancake makeup they slathered on the guys didn't help any, looks like they were trying to make them look tan. They looked better in their own videos but I guess that's Hollywood for you. Still a great voice.

  • merci de retrouvé de la vraie musique, celle d'aujourd'hui me fait peur

  • HOLY CRAP Did Eric Burdon just... speak?

  • шевелюра у ведущего а-ля 50-е хДДДДД

  • 0:58 WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?!?! You are missing the good parts!

  • if only they were really plugged into amps...

  • 100 to zero on the bar :) thanks animals!

  • I love the idea that ten thousand bucks is a reasonable amount of money to run for Senate.

  • This is from 'Get Yourself a College Girl', released in 1964. Good old movie..

  • Great quality--thanks for posting :) Listening to all their music right now :)

  • Still love it!!!!

  • Still love it!!!

  • Those studio lights are harsh but they still scrub up ok

  • Bassman is Chas Chandler, who 'discovered' Jimi Hendrix and was his first manager. He made Jimi famous by ordering him to record "Hey Joe" in London with Mitch and Noel, then Chas booked them on a tour of UK and France. The rest is history. Chas was later squeezed out by the criminal burn artist Mike Jeffery.

  • 1:54 umm!

  • This is an amazing clip of the Animals, one of the best I've seen. Too bad it's mixed in with an annoying, throw-away movie. I wish we could have seen th entire song without the film "action". Many good bands of this era were stuck in the same situation. The Beach Boys performed in a number of zero quality beach/surfer movies. The only clips of these movies worth saving are the music numbers. The rest of the films should be disposed of.

  • wow the way eric performs for the camera reminds me of a rapper

  • Merci!

  • great song and so underrated!

  • What movie-show was this in?

  • Thanks for the redirect from the other less quality version of the same clip.

  • I love that expression Eric makes when he says "Started moving my feet, Oh clapping my hands". I dont care what none of ya'll say, This man is the best looking man i think ive ever seen in my life!!! He just looks different from any other man out there. He's not plain. He's Hot!! lol! Love this video!!!

  • @PeytonLee13 Well, Eric Burdon is/was rather unique looking. He is also very short of stature, which may be pased off as "cute" when one is in one's teens or 20s, but may appear "less than manly" as one becomes older.

Burdon's got a great, soulful voice, though, and, along with Mick Jagger and Van Morrison, one of the best white guy-sounding-black voices in rock & roll!

  • @PeytonLee13 But my experience is that many entertainers, especally males, are shorter-than-average of stature, which, for a male, may be a blow to one's ego, evoking some negative self-esteem issues, even Napoleon Complexes, that manifest themselves as "power-hungry" and other bad behavior traits.

But in Burdon's case, either his shortness wasn't a problem for him, else it manifsted itself positively, by his becoming this powerful singer, and dynamic personality.

  • @gymnastix To compensate for his height, Eric surrounded himself with the dorkiest looking musicians he could find. Worked like a charm, the girls didn't even notice he was shorter than rest, all eyes were on him...lol

As a fellow shortie, I say good on ya Eric!!

  • @PeytonLee13 Same with Jagger, great voice and larger-than-life personality. Although he's got sexual issues, having had a problem with fidelity to partners, and fathered several children out-of-wedlock. But, by all accounts, Jagger's a good father, at least to those he's acknowledged as his offspring.

  • @PeytonLee13 I got way off-topic here, from discussing Burdon's shortness. But have you seen Burdon & The Animals in "Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood?"

It was a television special that aired once, on ABC-TV in 1965. The program starred Liza Minnelli as "Red Riding Hood," Cyril Ritchard as "The Big Bad Wolf," and Burdon & Co. as the Wolf's cohort..

I saw it when it aired, was seven years old. But you may watch it here on You Tube, in several parts.

  • @PeytonLee13 Ritchard had played a similar role, as "Captain Hook," in the Mary Martin/Jule Styne version of "Peter Pan," aired live on NBC-TV in 1955, '56, and a videotape rebroadcast first aired in 1960; a few rebroadcasts in the decade following, once again in the '80s, all on NBC-TV.

  • @PeytonLee13 then you'll definitively like joseph gorden levitt :D same looks

  • @PeytonLee13 I am in complete and utter agreement with you on that one.

  • haha sometimes they look like marionettes

  • thanks!!! Great video!!!!!!!!!

  • Brilliant!

  • amazing clip. thanks! =D

  • The Animals look great but I wish it was Eric Burdon on the dance floor...!
