Yo want facts? the Beach Boys album pet sounds is the most critically acclaimed album of all time. It gets to number one in pretty much all the greatest album of all time lists. (mojo, NME, Gaurdian etc etc) They are one of the best selling bands of all time, and one of the most influencial. They have a body of work spanning over 40 years. They made the most legendary unfinished album ever with SMIlLE, and what is commonly regarded as the greatest single ever with good vibrations.

In that short time they made about 15 albums, many of which are considered amoungst the best of all time, and they released some of the best selling singles ever, including good vibrations - the best selling single of all time.
