You will need to add the folder with your samples in fl. The option should be under options, file settings. There will be an area that will allow you to browse and choose the folder where your samples are. Once you are done, the folder will show up on the folder list in FL's main window. From there you can drag and drop your samples into Edison or wherever within fl.
Hey thanks for the reply! so I've been using one of these but I am wondering if you know how to get the sounds into it that aren't say, programmed in FL. I want to get the sounds from some wav/aif files I have of songs into the pads but i can only seem to get the sounds used in garageband like garageband's drums, bass, etc. to trigger on the pad. I am wondering if you know about getting regular audio files to trigger through some software or the librarian software that comes with it? Thanks
@dasayheykid oh, thx. i`m gettin' in samplers stuff, and i'll be a owener of akai mpd26 soon, so whst do you about my choice for akai? it's also just pad controller.
@mr10hsu The mpd26 seems like a decent controller. I have the 32, (videos to come soon). The pads on the mpd line are ok, but I will always love the pads on the padkontrol.
But the pad and control banks I find really helpful on the mpds.
@dasayheykid NIce job fuck the haters! So FL that's FL studio will give you beats like that? Since there's no beats built into the korg you know of FL or any other ways to get these really good drum sounds? I use garageband and i have to say the drums on that sound like total crap.
@ripcurl9799 FL can use samples from any sound library, as long as the sounds are in wav or aif format.
I was lucky to get some MPC sound kits from a friend a few years back. but I've also sampled drums sounds from records and sample loops. Also remember layering your sounds makes a difference.
Sick Beat, oh so soulful sample love it

you playin' samples, but beats are played by programm or korg? tell me plz!

@mr10hsu hey wassup. Yeah the drums were already recorded. I was just playing the sample over it.
The padkontrol is just a midi controller, which triggers sounds from FL. There are no built-in sounds in the korg.
